• THE STAGE 演出音乐节 – AUG. 2026 – WAY THE DINO SCREAM

  [TOUR] Way the Dino Scream (恐龙怎么叫) is a Gen Z indie emo band formed by young musicians from Wuhan and Changsha, China. Emerging as a standout act in the current emo revival, their sound defies easy categorization. Drawing a quirky connection between prehistoric dinosaurs and today’s youth, the band deconstructs heavy themes like life, death, love, and growing up through a playful lens, frequently weaving internet memes into their lyrics to soften the gravity of it all. Drawing musical inspiration from acts such as Hom Shenhao (Touming Magazine), Chinese Football, Forest, and Weezer, the band follows a simple ethos: “Complex arrangements don’t always need brooding themes.” They remain true to their instincts and the passion that brought them together in the first place. In 2026, they released their debut EP, “The Schoo Day We Spent With a Brachiosaurus” (校园里有长颈龙的日子), through their own imprint, The Wallers. The opening track, “Intro” opens with fuzzy, radio-like spoken-word dialogue, establishing the “dinosaur” motif that runs throughout the EP. Fresh off several dates across the Greater Bay Area, the band is embarking on the next leg of their tour on August 13, taking them to Kaili and Chengdu before wrapping up at Nuts Livehouse in Chongqing.

  [SHOWCASE] As emo once again emerges as a defining force in youth culture, China’s emo scene marks its 20th anniversary. From 2006 to 2026, a dedicated community has spent two decades transforming emo from an underground expression into a cross-generational cultural home. Li Xiaoquan of TOOKOO wrote: “From QQ, MSN, and WeChat to online forums, MySpace, Douban, Red Note, and Douyin — through 7,300 sunrises and sunsets, those once-restless youths have grown into adulthood. Do you still remember those promises? As the bells ring once again, hold on to who you are and set off once more. In our own way, let us remember those we’ve lost along the journey and welcome a new generation of friends. Whenever you feel lost, please come home. Looking at these hearts shaped just like yours, the songs that belong to us will eventually echo across the stage once again.” Tickets are now on sale for the Beijing stop of the “King-Size Emoride 20th Anniversary Reunion Showcase”, taking place on August 15. The lineup features TOOKOO (pioneers of China’s emo scene), Chinese Football (Wuhan-based Midwest emo / math rock), TWINKLESTAR (emo punk), MissingWishes (Beijing emo / alternative rock), and Phantom Heartache (post-emo / mall emo revival band formed in 2024).

  [FESTIVAL] The 4th edition of “YunNanMo” (雲喃默), Yunnan’s premier indoor instrumental rock festival, has been officially announced. The festival will take place on September 12, 2026, at Modern Sky Lab Kunming. Under the theme “Silent Rocks, Resonating Waves,” YunNanMo returns for its fourth consecutive year. Deeply rooted in Yunnan, China, the indoor festival has grown from a small local project into a key platform for instrumental music in the region, building a strong reputation through years of support from local audiences. Organized by ONE FOR ALL, the festival celebrates the essence of instrumental rock — emotional storytelling expressed purely through instruments beyond the boundaries of vocals. Inspired by Yunnan’s diverse cultural landscape, the organizers aim to cultivate and strengthen the local instrumental music community for years to come. 2026 Lineup: Children make choice (Guizhou), Dreamvour (Yunnan), TopSecret (Xi’an), JianXiSheng (Guangxi), Wildshore Journal (Guangxi), Strawberry Field 4 1 Penny (Yunnan), RightTogether (Guangdong).

  [音乐节] 2026年第四届“雲喃默”室内器乐摇滚音乐节正式官宣，日期在9月12日，地点在Modern Sky Lab昆明，音乐节主题为“磐石不言，声浪自鸣”。“雲喃默”已连续举办了四年，是扎根中国云南的室内器乐摇滚音乐节。从最初试探性地落地，到如今成为云南器乐音乐的重要据点，这个音乐节依靠本地乐迷的持续支持和口碑不断积累。主办方合壹 ONE FOR ALL 强调器乐摇滚“无人声裹挟、纯粹靠乐器编织情绪”的特质，希望依托云南多元的风土气韵，持续深耕本土器乐场景。本届参演的乐队有 Children make choice（贵州）、痴梦 Dreamvour（云南）、顶级秘密（西安）、简希声（广西）、野岸刊（广西）、一便士草莓地（云南）、右侧合流（广东）。

• THE STAGE 演出音乐节 – JUL. 2026 – MOSS MUSIC SEASON

  [FESTIVAL] The two MOSS MUSIC SEASON (Wuhan, China) shows, originally scheduled for July 11 and 12, 2026, have been postponed to August 1 and 2. Due to scheduling conflicts, The Top Floor, Wasted LAIKA, and Ayim will no longer perform and have been replaced with an exciting, refreshed lineup. The festival will feature two stages: MOSS STAGE and ROLLING STAGE. The August 1 lineup includes The Brickska, Instinkto Industrio, STEELY HEART, GOINDOWN, GouMao & Band, Lonely Leary, JahPhy, Joyside, Kawa, STOLEN, and Jump Goat. The August 2 lineup features Hardcore Raver in Tears, Spring Hill Post Tide, AnimalFarm, HappyWheel, HYPER SLASH, Kamerata, Post Radio, SinceTMRW, Sky King Jack, WHITE+, Aberration, and YunYun. The organizers have announced that fans who refunded their original July 11/12 tickets and repurchased tickets for the August 1/2 shows will receive a special gift package upon entry—including the official festival magazine “MOSS, Sweet Dreams”, a paper fan, and an exclusive Sardine T-shirt (limited to 1,000 pieces, available on a first-come, first-served basis).

  [音乐节] 原定2026年7月11/12日的中国武汉MOSS野苔音乐季的两场演出，因故延期为8月1日和8月2日。顶楼的马戏团、丢莱卡、阿依木这三支乐队因档期原因无法继续参演，替换了更多崭新阵容。音乐季设MOSS STAGE和ROLLING STAGE两个舞台。8月1日阵容：板砖、本能實業、钢心、GOINDOWN、狗毛&乐队、孤独的利里、佳非JahPhy、Joyside、Kawa、STOLEN秘密行动、跳山羊。8月2日阵容：白纸扇、春山后潮、動物莊園AnimalFarm、海皮威尔、HYPER SLASH超级斩、Kamerata卡梅拉塔、Post Radio后电台、SinceTMRW始于明天、Sky King Jack、WHITE+、越轨、云云。主办表示，原7.11/7.12退票后重购8.1/8.2场次的观众，入场除了能领到《MOSS，做梦愉快吧》场刊和纳凉扇外，还会额外获得沙丁T恤1件（共1000件，领完即止）。
