    [NEW ALBUM] Shenzhen-based instrumental rock act attosec (阿托秒) has signed with indie label Random Forest (随机森林) and released their debut full-length album, “The Last Optimist”, on August 28. Defying rigid genre boundaries, the band fuses the complex rhythms of math rock, the driving intensity of progressive core, and the improvisational fluidity of jazz fusion with the rhythmic pulses of footwork and electro. They deconstruct the structures of math rock through icy, digital timbres, balancing cerebral technicality with immersive atmospheric builds and melodic resonance. The name attosec is derived from “attosecond,” a unit of time equal to 10⁻¹⁸ seconds.

    [NEW SINGLE] Duo NeoNew are set to release their debut full-length album “Yiyiyaya” on July 29, with the album’s second single and title track out now. For the track, NeoNew collaborated with manga artist Lu Ran, who created a companion comic using black-and-white panels with subtle color accents to bring the song’s imagery to life. Formed in Beijing in 2023 by Way and Ye Yang, NeoNew are currently signed to bié Records. Blending electronic synths, psychedelic rock, experimental instrumentation, and tribal percussion, the duo creates a sound that is psychedelic, eccentric, and deeply rooted in a “jungle” atmosphere — weaving glitch aesthetics, instrumentation, and vocals into a spiritual sonic world.

    [新单] 二人音乐组拗拗NeoNew即将在7月29日发布全长专辑《学语》，与专辑同名的第二支先行单曲已经上线。拗拗邀请了漫画家Lu Ran以这首单曲为主题进行联合创作。Lu Ran使用黑白框架、辅以少量色彩的分镜来还原歌词中的画面。拗拗NeoNew于2023年在中国北京成立，由歪歪和野杨组成，现为 bié Records（别的唱片）合作音乐人。他们的音乐融合电子合成器、迷幻摇滚、实验器乐与部落打击乐，常被形容为迷幻、怪诞且充满“丛林感”，擅长用glitch故障声响、器乐与人声交织营造灵性的听觉空间。

    [NEW ALBUM] Chengdu-born, Berlin-based electronic producer Heling (aka MaoMao) has released his new album “DangYang” (Ripples). Neither aggressive nor overwhelming, the album moves with a clear sense of intention, existing in a fluid space between stillness and motion. Neither strictly designed for the dance floor nor intended purely for meditation, DangYang avoids dramatic peaks, instead guiding physical perception through gentle, sustained low frequencies and spatial textures that spread like ripples across water. It is a quiet record, carrying a serene confidence that feels in no hurry to explain itself. The album is co-released by Oriental Order and Muffle Truffle. Founded in Chengdu in 2022, Oriental Order collaborates with musicians and visual artists to curate immersive sound experiences beyond the mainstream, while Muffle Truffle serves as Heling’s personal imprint.

    [新专] 来自中国成都（现居德国柏林）的电子音乐人Heling（毛毛）日前发行了专辑《荡漾》。《荡漾》并不激烈，它有明确立场的表达，是一种介于”动与静之间”的流动状态。它不属于舞池，也不属于冥想，不追求戏剧性，而用温和持续的低频推动身体感知，用空间感营造水面波纹般的扩散感。整张专辑很安静，透露着一种并不着急解释自己的淡定感。专辑由厂牌东秩序（Oriental Order）和Muffle Truffle共同发行。东秩序于2022年在成都成立，致力于与音乐人、视觉艺术家合作，打造主流之外的高品质音乐。Muffle Truffle则是Heling的个人厂牌名。

    [NEW ALBUM] Hailing from Guizhou, China, math-rock band Fimoo has officially signed with JD Music Studio and will release their third album “Midsummer” on July 25, 2026. Formed by the original members of Jiojio — Banjiu, Xiaoyan, Xingyu, Xiaohua, and Awei — Fimoo exists alongside their original project. Following the album release, the band has officially launched their China tour.

    [新专] 来自中国贵州的数学摇滚乐队 Fimoo，日前签约煎蛋音乐工作室，他们第三张专辑《仲夏》​于 2026年7月25日​ 上线。Fimoo是由鸠鸠Jiojio​原班人马（斑鸠、小晏、兴宇、小华、阿巍）组建的数摇乐队，两支乐队同步并行。专辑上线的同时，他们开启了全国巡演。

    [NEW ALBUM] Hailing from Hangzhou, China, electronic duo Circle Arena has released their debut concept album “Interlinked” via CaoTai Music. Founded in 2022, the duo consists of Mingyue, who focuses on philosophical songwriting and lyrics, and Wang Zhehui, who focuses on sound experimentation and production. Defining themselves as a sci-fi electronic act centered around synthesizers and drum machines, Circle Arena explains that the album’s “sci-fi feeling” was not a predetermined direction, but rather a subconscious thread they discovered after completing the record. “Interlinked” explores the moment when the boundary between the external world and the inner self dissolves — moving from questions about solitude toward the transcendent realization that “I am the world itself.” The album artwork features a photograph taken in Iceland by French installation artist Vincent Leroy. Drawn to its striking sci-fi aesthetic and its connection with their sound, the band contacted Leroy directly via email to obtain official licensing. The process became a meaningful source of encouragement during the later stages of the album’s creation.

    [新专] 中国杭州双人乐队Circle Arena（环形竞技场）日前发行了首张概念专辑《Interlinked》，乐队签约于厂牌草台回声。乐队成立于2022年，成员为明月（偏哲学思辨、词曲）与王浙辉（偏声音实验、制作）他们将自己的音乐风格定义为一支科幻电子乐队，以合成器、鼓机等电子设备为主；“科幻感”并非他们预先设定，而是在专辑完成后回溯发现到自己潜意识在音乐里的统一投射。专辑《Interlinked》讲述外部世界与内在自我边界消失的瞬间，从怀疑孤独的存在到发现“我即世界本身”的消融与合一。专辑封面来自法国装置艺术家Vincent Leroy在冰岛拍摄的作品，因其科幻气质与专辑高度吻合，是乐队成员主动邮件联系后获取的授权，这也成为他们创作后期的重要鼓励。
