Duo NeoNew is set to release their full-length album “Yiyiyaya” on July 29, with the second lead single of the same name out now. For this track, NeoNew collaborated with manga artist Lu Ran, who crafted a dedicated comic strip using black-and-white panels with subtle color accents to bring the song’s narrative imagery to life.Formed in Beijing in 2023 by members Way and Ye Yang, NeoNew is currently affiliated with bié Records. Blending electronic synths, psychedelic rock, experimental instrumentation, and tribal percussion, their sound is often described as psychedelic, eccentric, and deeply rooted in a “jungle” atmosphere—masterfully weaving glitch aesthetics, instruments, and vocals to build a spiritual sonic world.
二人音乐组拗拗NeoNew即将在7月29日发布全长专辑《学语》，与专辑同名的第二支先行单曲已经上线。拗拗邀请了漫画家Lu Ran以这首单曲为主题进行联合创作。Lu Ran使用黑白框架、辅以少量色彩的分镜来还原歌词中的画面。拗拗NeoNew于2023年在中国北京成立，由歪歪和野杨组成，现为 bié Records（别的唱片）合作音乐人。他们的音乐融合电子合成器、迷幻摇滚、实验器乐与部落打击乐，常被形容为迷幻、怪诞且充满“丛林感”，擅长用glitch故障声响、器乐与人声交织营造灵性的听觉空间。
