Zoo Gazer (动物园钉子户) has released their new single “Butterfly”. Reflecting on the track’s inspiration, the band describes it as capturing the delicate moment before a butterfly comes to rest: “When we try to build a new connection with someone, aren’t we just like a butterfly hovering in mid-air? Constantly overthinking, guessing, testing the waters, and beating our wings without pause. Before landing, we never know what comes next—so we are filled with anticipation, anxiety, and a quiet helplessness, circling repeatedly until we finally settle on a flower.” Formed in 2017 in Xuzhou, Jiangsu, China, Zoo Gazer seamlessly blends elements of Shoegaze, Indie Pop, and Noise Pop. They are currently signed to SJ Records.
