According to data monitoring and research estimates from the ticketing information collection platform of the China Association of Performing Arts, there were 251,700 commercial performances nationwide in the first half of 2024, a year-on-year increase of 30.19%; box office revenue was 19.016 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13.24%; and the number of spectators was 79 million, a year-on-year increase of 27.10%.

[NEW ALBUM] Carsick Cars – Aha
In September 2017, Carsick Cars returned with the original members (vocalist/guitar: Zhang Shouwang, bass: Li Weisi, drums: Li Qing). They released the band’s fourth album this summer, or it can be said that it is the third album co-created by the original lineup of three people. The album is called “Aha”, and the iconic guitar noise of Carsick Cars continues. They disassembled and integrated nine songs created between 2018 and 2023 to form a new and unique dynamic balance. The lyrics are no longer written straightforwardly, but in a narrative method that combines reality. It has achieved a different way of expression from the past but still has the background of Carsick Cars.
